1. What Gov Gotta Bike does
Gov Gotta Bike helps you find cycling and walking advocacy organizations that serve a location, and see the federal, state, county, and city officials and districts associated with that location. Information is drawn from public data sources and automated lookups.
2. Accuracy of information
Government, district, and elected-official information is compiled from public and third-party sources and, in some cases, generated by automated tools (including AI). It may be incomplete, out of date, or incorrect. County- and city-level details in particular are AI-generated and unverified. Always confirm important information with official government sources before relying on it. Gov Gotta Bike does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information provided.
3. Your account
Some features require an account. You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Please provide accurate information and keep it current.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its data sources.
- Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download data in a way that burdens the Service or violates the terms of the underlying data providers.
- Submit false, misleading, abusive, or infringing content (for example, in infrastructure issue reports).
5. User-submitted content
If you submit content — such as an infrastructure issue report or organization information — you are responsible for it and represent that you have the right to submit it. You grant Gov Gotta Bike a non-exclusive license to use, display, and process that content to operate the Service.

The Service incorporates data and services from third parties, including the U.S. Census Bureau, OpenStreetMap, Open States, and 5 Calls. Your use of that data may be subject to those providers' terms. Gov Gotta Bike is not responsible for third-party content or services.
